Since I have already been helping appraisers all over the country who call or email me with questions about writing narrative reports I have decided to offer my assistance to those in particular need on a fee basis. If its your first narrative or you have been writing reports for years, I am willing to spend my time helping you with your assignment. I'm not saying that I can help everyone with anything but I have a relatively broad base of appraisal knowledge that I will share. I think my articles on this site speak for themselves, I have appraised many property types including; land, office, industrial, retail, shopping centers, golf courses, cell tower sites, wedding chappels, outdoor advertising signs / billboards, all kinds of property for eminent domain / condemnation both full and partial takings, gravel / mineral property, golf courses and even tank farms.
No confidential information that relates to my past clients nor reports completed by other appraisers will be provided in the name of "assistance." I'm offering narrative report structure and writing assistance, I'm not offering information contained in reports that others would consider confidential, even if the reports were made public. If you are seeking copies of appraisal reports you can obtain a great deal via the Freedom of Information Act since government entities, at least in Nevada, order quite a few each year.
I don't think assistance with narrative report writing in most cases requires disclosure, but if it makes you sleep better at night you can note in your report that I provided you with narrative report writing assistance. As part of the agreement between us, however, I expect that if you disclose that my assistance to you did not include real property analysis nor did I form a value opinion. I really don't want to have regulators from other states telling me that I have violated USPAP because I helped with things like; Excel table formats, page numbering, links to data sources or the creation of a DCF model.

Do us both a favor and make sure that you have enough time to complete an assignment, I am usually available but not always available to provide assistance. My fee for assistance will be $ 50 an hour X 5 hour minimum to be paid in advance. I accept Paypal and checks but no Visa / Mastercard transactions.
