As an analyst I can't resist going through my receipts and making analytic comparisons. In this case I have decided to provide you with the median cost per person of visiting the listed restaurants in the Las Vegas / Henderson area. It's not my complete list but I think it may be informative to some.
I'm sure it's obvious to you that the comparison has nothing to do with the food quality, I'm not comparing MacDonald's hamburgers to filet steaks at Outback Steakhouse. It's just a general price indication based on my own experiences (it's right off of my personal receipts).
Also not considered in this review is the fact that some restaurants, like The Cracked Egg, were visited for breakfast while others were visited for lunch or dinner.
The following table provides a list of Las Vegas / Henderson restaurants and my median cost eating at them on a per person basis. It's important to understand that in some cases, like the Hofbrauhaus and the Firefly, the median cost per meal may include a glass of wine or a beer. So again the study is not an "apples to apples" comparison to places where I would not consume an alcoholic beverage but as I noted it will give you a general idea of what it cost in 2014 to eat at these restaurants.
I'm sure that you as a consumer are probably already aware of the differences, but I just wanted to put the cost per person out there since I had it available.
Since the average cost is going up, I may post the averages next year just to display the increases.
For my money the best food for the most reasonable cost per person is Nora's Cuisine. I'm not into promotions but looking through the list that just occurred to me.
Since I’m a local and not a tourist the $ 48.86 per person Gordon Ramsey Burger price is over the top, but it is nice to occasionally visit some of the tourist restaurants. I had a 2 hour wait just to get in, so my opinion of the price doesn’t hold much sway.
